    Known issue: use v2026.10.13-4 instead. The Linux packages in this release have no application icon. The .deb has no taskbar or menu icon, and the Flatpak ships no icon files, because the icon was installed at a size (1024x1024) that desktop icon themes do not search. The Windows and macOS files in this release are unaffected. Install the Linux packages from v2026.10.13-4 instead.

    Date-based release v2026.10.13-3 (third release of 2026-10-13).

    • Fixes the Debian package version. The .deb in v2026.10.13-2 was versioned 2026.10.13~2, which Debian sorts before 2026.10.13, so apt refused to upgrade an installed 2026.10.13 and treated it as a downgrade. This .deb is 2026.10.13-3 and upgrades normally.
    • Installers are labelled by platform: DS-Chat-Windows-, DS-Chat-Mac-, and DS-Chat-Linux-*.
    • The tray menu shows the running version and a Download Latest item that opens this releases page. The in-app updater has been removed; install new versions from this page.
    • Fixes the tray and taskbar unread indicator staying lit after returning to the room a desktop notification was for.
    • Includes Windows, macOS, Flatpak, and Debian builds.

    The Windows and macOS artifacts are unsigned because no code-signing certificate or Apple Developer ID was available. SHA-256 checksums are in SHA256SUMS.
