2026-10-13 20:44:13 -06:00 Date-based release v2026.10.13-4 (fourth release of 2026-10-13).
- Fixes the missing Linux icon. v2026.10.13-2 and -3 installed the application icon at a size (1024x1024) that desktop icon themes do not search, so the .deb had no taskbar or menu icon and the Flatpak shipped no icon at all. Linux packages now include icons from 16 to 512 pixels. Windows and macOS were not affected.
- Includes the Debian version fix from -3: the .deb is versioned 2026.10.13-4 and upgrades an installed 2026.10.13 normally.
- Installers are labelled by platform: DS-Chat-Windows-, DS-Chat-Mac-, and DS-Chat-Linux-*.
- The tray menu shows the running version and a Download Latest item that opens this releases page. The in-app updater has been removed; install new versions from this page.
- Fixes the tray and taskbar unread indicator staying lit after returning to the room a desktop notification was for.
- Includes Windows, macOS, Flatpak, and Debian builds.
The Windows and macOS artifacts are unsigned because no code-signing certificate or Apple Developer ID was available. SHA-256 checksums are in SHA256SUMS.
